Ever wanted that Asian style sticky rice but don't have a steamer? Never fear! I have the quick and easy way to get your desired outcome.
For awhile now I've had a sudden fascination with chopsticks and eating with them. But I could never get my rice right. After some experimenting I finally came close to sticky rice.
You don't have to buy any sort of special rice. All you need is Minute White Rice.
Follow the directions on the box with adding water. If one cup of rice, one cup of water. Two cups of water, two cups of rice etc.
Bring the water to a boil and pour in the rice. Stir the rice once and put a lid on it. Turn the eye OFF and LEAVE the pot ON the eye. This will trap the steam in and continue to cook it at the same time.
Let sit until all the water has left the pot. Stir once and serve.
For flavor add a little bit of Soy Sauce (or a different type of sauce) just to tease your taste buds and cook chicken and a vegetable with it.

Note: Don't add any salt or butter to the rice.
